Objective

To change El Salvador’s international image and activate tourism as a real engine of economic and social development.

Idea

We made a strategic decision: to bet on surf.
El Salvador has more than 300 km of coastline with some of the best right-hand waves in the world. A unique asset that could become a country-level opportunity.
Instead of launching an institutional campaign, we created a brand identity to define a place.
 Surf City was born as a brand capable of structuring this potential and projecting a new international narrative.
Surf stopped being just a sport and became a country brand.

Diffusion

We developed an international strategy combining outdoor advertising, digital campaigns, and branded content, with a strong presence in specialized media, collaborations with surfers, tour operators, and influencers.
The project was amplified through real milestones that gave the brand credibility and scale: official competitions, presence at global events, and high-impact audiovisual content.

Impact

Surf City scaled the conversation internationally, driving over 1,000% organic growth on social media and surpassing 100 million impressions across multiple countries.
Beyond awareness, the project activated tourism, generated new economic opportunities, and consolidated surf as a real tool for sustainable development in El Salvador.
